Ramon was born in Panama City, Panama and grew up in Puerto Rico and Texas. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he holds degrees in Public Health and Biology, and received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Ramon completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University, along with his Fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Hypertension. He has a special interest in pulmonary hypertension and health disparities. When he is not working, he enjoys cross training, surfing, traveling, spending time with his family, and playing with his pup.
